My Favorite Candy

 My favorite sweet is dark chocolate. I like the pleasant sensation of eating chocolate. It is not sweet but tastes like cocoa. In my native country we eat chocolate on special occasions. And at Christmas it is something traditional. It is bought in supermarkets and specialty stores.

About This Halloween

 I like the Halloween celebration. I like the orange color and the creativity of the costumes. I celebrate it just by looking at all the decorated houses. In this time of COVI nothing is the same. People can celebrate at home safely.

My ideas about Social Media

Social networks are an effective and fast means of communication. Is the positive and negative influence on people. I like them because of the variety of people you can communicate with. I like Twitter a lot and currently follow 7 people and 72 follow me. I follow things about the President, Vice-President of the USA, and the US Embassy in Honduras, my native country because I’m learning about the USA and Government. Thanks to this class I have learned the use of social networks. I like it a lot. I feel that my world is big, read and write important thing.

My Favorite thing.

 What I like most about my house is my study area. It is a small space but very useful for me. It is my favorite place because from there I navigate the world through my computers. I was building this space little by little, including many things. This is a site that I want my daughter to have one of these as an example.

My favorite Music is Pointe.

 My favorite musical group is White Band. The band is from Honduras. Twenty years ago it was the main band group in the country. This kind of music is called a dance of pointe. It is a form of dance and music typical of the Garifuna ethnic group in their celebrations and festivities. There are certain legends about the name of this dance, one of them mentions a funerary ritual that the Garifuna danced. It is found in Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize. This band disintegrated more than 5 years ago.

The Most Important Thing I Learned

 

I learned that all people have rights and dignity that we must respect. I learned to esteem people.

I learned that the world was made up of many different people than me. And that one day he was going to be able to see different people, places and cultures. And that my world would be better.

Restaurants I want to try - Pier 76 Fish Grill

I want to try Pier 76 Fish Grill. According to Yelp, they have Seafood and Salad. They are located in Cerritos. The reviews say from 988 reviews 651 say it is 5 stars. And 256 says it is 4 stars. Sounds good!! I want to try the Fish Grill here!. I hope to try this restaurant soon! If you go there, let me know what you think in the comments.

  

My Job as a Nurse

I worked as a nurse for 30 years. I started to study when I was very young. At first it is very hard work emotionally. A day to begin with joy. Greeting colleagues and patients because there is sadness in people’s lives. You are to be a person who understands the feeling and health that the people you serve have lost. We have to approach the patients, greet them. Review how the previous job was to start their medications and therapies for the day. I recommend this profession because it is gratifying when you see people leaving the Hospital happy. It is a very interesting job for yourself. You learn to know and value what really matters.

My Weekends

On the weekends I like to do different things. I always want to go to the beach for a walk, I want to go to see places that I don't know. I like to go to the Porto's bakery for a turkey sandwich and fresh orange juice. I don't want to cook on the weekends. But I almost always make it for breakfast or dinner.

My Favorite Place When I was a Child

My favorite place was the Central Park of my hometown. The place was beautiful for me. Always had marimba music, colorful and people sharing with friends and family. People looked happy and were dancing. Always I visited Central Park. I just looked at the dancing couple and I listened to marimba music. I remember interesting things. I met friends and shared everything. Now, I feel like I was very happy.

My Daily Routine

My daily routine is similar from Monday to Friday. It changes a bit on the weekends. I wake up at 5:00 and get up at 5:10 am Monday through Friday. During those 10 minutes I think and thank God for starting a new day and I think of all the good things I will do.

I start my routine at 5:20 am. I prepare a quick breakfast.

Then I clean the kitchen and finish at 7 am. I quickly eat my breakfast. And I continue finishing lunch. I start my classes online at 9:00 with grammar class. I continue with Advanced class. I rest for about 10 minutes, have my quick lunch and get ready for my last class with teacher Daniel.

In the evening I serve dinner. I walk around my neighborhood for an hour, I clean the kitchen and prepare food and fruits for the next day. I review my classes for the day. I go to my bed at 10 -11pm.

My Favorite Movie is The Terminator

My favorite American movie is “The Terminator". It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator. Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton).A cyborg assassin sent back to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose son will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future. In time from 2029 to 1984.The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction film directed by James Cameron. I like movies with him because they are science fiction. They are fast and they have very abstract messages. And there is no trust in anyone.
